In June of 2022, I led plant walks and critical ethnobotany talks at the Saskatoon ancestral skills gathering, near Twisp, Washington. This is the second year I led some version of this walk in this location, the last time had been summer of 2019 alongside Conrad Justice and the late Finisia Medrano. 2022 was a late blooming year from unusually abundant summer rains so there were so many plants still flowering compared to the 2019 walks. A few portraits smattered alongside botanical documentation are featured. I took photos when I had free moments breaking from teaching.
